ALLOW US TO WALK you through the home building process as we see it and how we strive to give our clients a memorable experience. This is an overview of our meetings with clients, the specific reasons for the meetings and the details of how we create the home.
DESIGN
Phase 1
Time: 1 to 2 hours scheduled during normal business hours
- Discover how and why you want a custom home
- Discuss general design elements
- Review a variety of floor plans
- Discuss the future Lot
- Overview your budget
DESIGN
Phase 2
Time: 1 to 8 weeks to complete
- Rough draft floor plans are presented
- Verify that our view for the home matches the clients
- Lot Considerations
- Considering the lot your home will be built on needs to be done before the finishing elements can be effectively planned for. So when the weather permits we will want to meet on the lot to review its geography and character.
- Budget review
- Discuss Level of Finish as it pertains to the Budget
- GREEN grading system is considered and options reviewed
DESIGN
Phase 3
Time: Another 2 to 8 weeks to complete
- Advanced rough draft presented with full specifications, details and elevations.
- Lot Considerations reviewed for effective implementation
- GREEN review
- Initial Budget Breakdown
- Finishing Elements of the home are selected, ie, flooring, cabinetry, home theaters etc.
It will take several follow up meetings to make sure all the selections are made before the work can begin. Anywhere between 3 to 7 days are needed between meetings for our clients to make selections, however each client is different but making all these choices before hand we have less construction delays and less change orders.
REVIEW
Time: 1 week
- Final Plans Approved
- Graphic renditions are presented
- Communication Policies Set
- Daily e-mail updates, progress reports and notifications
- Budget Finalized
- Change order Policy Review
- Time Table for Completion Determined
CONSTRUCTION
Time: Determined by the size of the home
- Ground Breaking Ceremony (Bring your boots)
- Review Meetings Scheduled
- Inspection Meetings Reviewed
- We want you to be there for each inspection meeting where we can walk through the home together with the city inspector.
FINAL MOVE IN
Time: Depends on how excited you are
- Red Ribbon Cutting (we provide the scissors)
- Walk through of the Home
- Maintenance and care for home
- Electronics Briefing
- Warranty and Follow Up Policies
- Re-Key ALL the locks
